Mindful Movement

Welcome to Mindful Movement, my name is Erica Viedma and I offer a range of yoga and mindfulness classes in Christchurch, New Zealand.

While achieving my Bachelor of Performing Arts majoring in dance at Unitec, I was introduced to a range of somatic modalities including yoga, feldenkrais, and alexander technique. This study created a passion for ongoing learning about anatomy and movement.  

I teach from an experience based practice, encouraging students to enhance their body awareness and find time to bring their movement practice into every day life. 

I am a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher. This training required over 3 years of study and assessment.  As an Iyengar yoga teacher I also undertake regular professional development and ongoing mentoring.
